"Sous d'autre Jazzitudes" (2004) - Worl jazz
Through his compositions, Jacques Pellarin proposes us on a mode very jazzy original works for accordion. In this colored escapade, a rich and rhythmical instrumental dialogue is established between saxophone, guitar, bass, battery, violin in a mixture of kinds... During this musical journey, the accordion chameleon passes by styles very eclectic as worked on it, waltz swing, nuevo tango, east musics, gipsy, Latin jazz and sertao.
This very personal music is going to draw his springs of influences at illustrious predecessors as Richard Galliano, Astor Piazzolla, Jean Privat and Yann Tiersen. It is also the fruit of a change of artistic orientation (stopruling of the classic concerts), followed by a happy and strong meeting with four talented musicians.
